Eliette T. Hamel

Eliette T. Hamel, 87, of Lakeland, FL and formerly of Berlin, NH, passed away on Monday September 14, 2015 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was born in Berlin on May 31, 1928 the daughter of Alfred and Valeda (Morrissette) Lacasse and lived in the area until 2013, when she moved to Florida. She was a member of the VFW Post # 2520 Ladies Auxiliary. Family includes her son Roger Hamel of California; her daughter Elaine Dionne of Lakeland, FL; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings Dorothy Chaisson of Berlin, Marie Ann Filteau of Berlin, Paul Lacasse of Florida, Grace Couture of Hooksett, Ted Lacasse of Berlin, Lucille Lowe of Randolph, Jeanne Guerin of Berlin and Theresa Pinette of Berlin; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Hamel and sisters Sylvia Ayotte and Claire Sevigny. There will be no services. Interment will be in St. Anne Cemetery. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
