Mr. Edwin B. Moose Forsythe, 87, of 19 Smith Street, Gorham, NH passed away on Friday December 21, 2007 at his home. He was born in Gorham on September 19, 1920 the son of Ralph R. and Effie M. (Fancy) Forsythe and was a lifelong resident. He had been employed as a superintendent at Gorham Sand and Gravel for 40 years and was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 82 in Gorham, the VFW White Mountain Post #2520 in Berlin, the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Berlin, the Presidential Range Riders Snowmobile Club of Gorham and the NH Good Roads Association. Members of the family include 1 daughter Mary Lodar of Gorham, NH; 2 sons Edwin Forsythe, Jr. and his wife Vicki of Conway, NH and Wayne M. Forsythe and wife Ursula of Milan, NH; 3 granddaughters Rebecca Day and husband Luke, Kathryn Rittenour and husband Brian and Jennifer Forsythe; 2 great grandchildren Lily Day and Ethan Edwin Rittenour; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Donaldson) Forsythe, three sisters Lillian Bixby, Hilda Pike, Constance DIorio and son-in-law Ray Lodar. Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 27, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade Street, Gorham, NH. Interment will be in the Lary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
