Edward Ed Paquette

Hillsboro, NH Edward "Ed" Paquette, 60, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Concord Hospital, Concord, NH after a long battle with cancer. Edward was a long time resident of Berlin and West Milan, NH. He was born on July 17, 1953 to Richard and Jan (Gillen) Paquette.

He graduated from Berlin High School in 1971. Following graduation he enlisted in the US Army where he served in Germany during the Vietnam Era. Then upon honorable discharge he served in the National Guard.

He was employed by Yellow Freight for 37 years as a truck driver.

He was a member of the Boy Scouts. He was on the Berlin High School Hockey Team. He had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. He loved to ride and was a member of the Vietnam Vet Motorcycle Club and a member of the HOGS.

Ed was preceded in death by his father Richard Paquette who passed away in 1999. He is survived by his mother, Jan Paquette; 3 daughters, Shawnee Paquette of Albany, NY, Kayla Paquette of Hillsboro, NH, Rosemary Paquette of Belmont, NH; 2 sons Jason Paquette of Hillsboro, NH and Jedediah Paquette of CA.; 3 Grandchildren Aliyah, Luke and Autumn. He also leaves behind a sister Diane Sampson, her husband Donald of Hillsboro, NH and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Friday, December 27, 2013 between 4:00pm & 7:00pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. (use School St entrance)

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Burial will be in the Milan Cemetery in the spring.
