Dr. Edward S. Garcia, MD of Coos Street passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH following an illness. He was 85.

Born on January 17, 1930 in New York, NY, he was the son of Celso and Oliva (Menendez Valle) Garcia.

He grew up in New York City and was a graduate of New Town High School in Elmhurst, NY. He then attended and graduated from St. John's University with a B.S. Degree in Chemistry and then received his MD degree from the National University of Mexico in Mexico City.

He practiced in Mexico for 6 months prior to moving to Boston, MA

For many years, he held a private practice as a urologist in Berlin and at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin.

He was a member of the American Urological Association, Association of Clinical Urologist, and a member of the New Hampshire Medical Society.

Besides his wife Claire Audet, he is pre-deceased by a brother Dr. Celso Garcia and a sister Minervera Orozco.

He leaves his daughter Andrea Kingston and husband James of Tampa, FL and Edward Garcia and wife Christine of Rochester, NH; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

There are no services scheduled.
