Edmond J. Gallant

Mr. Edmond J. Gallant, 53, of 530 Forbush Avenue, Berlin, NH passed away on Thursday July 10, 2008 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Whittier, CA on Jan. 4, 1955 the son of Roger A. and Amanda M. (Laramee) Gallant and was a lifelong resident of Berlin. He had served in the US Navy. He was employed for over 20 years at Isaacson Steel in Berlin and lastly he had worked at Wildcat Ski Area. Members of the family include his wife Irene (Grondin) Gallant of Berlin, NH; a daughter Shelley R. McAfee and her husband Jason of Branson, Missouri; 5 brothers Paul Garneau, George Gallant, Donald Gallant, David Gallant and Armand Gallant; one sister Lilliane Whyte; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother Raymond Gallant and by 2 sisters Estelle Demers and Terese Guerin Beckmeyer. SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday afternoon July 16, 2008 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 3 PM, prior to the service.
