Earl R. Thomas, Sr.

Earl R. Thomas, Sr., 82, of Berlin, NH passed away on Sunday January 6, 2012 at the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare and Rehab Center in Berlin. He was born in Brunswick, VT on January 21, 1930 the son of Edwin and Eldena (Heath) Thomas and was a lifelong resident of Berlin. He was employed as an equipment operator for local lumber companies for many years. Earl was a race car enthusiast, wildlife enthusiast and enjoyed country music. Members of the family include his 5 children Donna Leblanc of Pittsfield, NH, Earl Thomas, Jr. and wife Doreen of Berlin, NH, Candy M. Thomas of Tilton, NH, Gail Nadeau of Gorham, NH and John Thomas of Berlin, NH; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers Robert Thomas of Berlin, NH and Charles Thomas of Maine; 2 sisters Mildred Tupick of Berlin, NH and Edna Stranger of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers Harold Thomas and Wendell Thomas and sisters Ruth OHara and Doris Martin. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at 11AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 PM.
