E. Jennie (Glover) Donaldson

E. Jennie (Glover) Donaldson, age 100, of Milan, New Hampshire, passed away on Sunday afternoon, July 31, 2016 at her home. She was born in Newton, MA on December 31, 1915 the daughter of Philip R. and Georgianna (Carver) Jackson and has lived in the Milan-Dummer area for most of her life. Jennie was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, the Dupont-Holmes Post #82 American Legion Auxiliary, was a seventh degree member of the Grange in Milan, a past member of TOPS Club and a former member of the Emily Flint Rebekah Lodge in Milan. She was a graduate of Berlin High School with the class of 1935. Members of the family include two daughters Priscilla Roy of Dummer, NH and Rosalie Dion and husband Larry of Milan, NH; two sons Daniel Glover and wife Carol of Dummer, NH and Donald Glover and wife Martha of Georgia; daughter-in-law Melodie Glover of Dummer, NH; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Larry Glover, two brothers Merton Jackson and Richard Jackson, four sisters Helen Gervais, Mae Nadeau, Norma Martin and Esther Stiles; and a step sister Rena Lunn. SERVICES: A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 10 AM at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Milan. There will be no calling hours. Anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to the Word of God Christian Church, Dummer, NH. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin and Gorham.
