Dustin M. Finson

Dustin M. Finson, age 33, of Eureka, CA and formerly of Berlin, New Hampshire, passed away on Wednesday May 2, 2018 as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident. He was born in Berlin, NH on November 4, 1984. Dustin was raised in the Berlin-Milan area, where he attended local schools. He had resided in Manchester, NH, prior to moving to California 6 years ago. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan, a great cook, had the gift of making people laugh and said he would have been a stand up comedian if he wasn't so shy. His hobbies included disc golfing, board games, camping and recently he was learning how to surf. Riding his mountain bike in the Redwoods was also one of his favorite activities along with listening to many musical artists but especially enjoyed his family vacations. Anyone who knew Dustin would understand his love for the T.V. show Trailer Park Boys. He is survived by his soul mate and the love of his life, RiAnnne Elizabeth Johnson of Eureka, CA, His loving parents Kathy (Bilodeau) Counter and Rick Counter from Colchester, VT. His doting twin sisters Heidi Finson and her partner Michael Olson and Heather Douglas and her husband Michael Douglas who all reside in Manchester, NH. His step sisters and their children, Chasidy Counter and her partner Nick Emmons of Vergennes, VT and Erica Facteau and her husband Tom Facteau of St. Albans, VT. His maternal grandparents Laurent and Dorothy Bilodeau of Berlin, NH. His father Maurice Finson of Milan, NH. Dustin also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he had a profound love for. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Ethel Finson and his godfather Walter Finson. SERVICES: Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. Wednesday May 9th from 6-8PM and Thursday May 10th from 11AM-1PM. A celebration of Dustin's life will follow at 1 PM. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery.
