Dorothy M. Roy

Dorothy M. Roy, 91, formerly of Berlin, passed away on August 26, 2012 at the Lexington Health Care Center, Lexington, MA. Mrs. Roy was born in Berlin, NH on March 20, 1921, the daughter of Wilfred and Yvonne (Roy) McCready. Dorothy was a graduate of Berlin High School and attended Mt. St. Mary College in Hooksett and the University of New Hampshire. She moved to Arlington, Ma in 1966. For a time, she worked for the Berlin Reporter and for many years she worked as a manager at Combined Insurance Company in Massachusetts. She enjoyed quilting, and in her younger years, enjoyed skiing and artistic painting and she also traveled to many places. Family members include her husband Andrew M. Roy of Concord, MA, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of ones choice.
