Dorothy L Chaisson

Dorothy L. "Dot" Chaisson formerly a longtime resident of Brown Street passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Coos Country Nursing Home. She was 93.

Born on November 7, 1920 in Berlin, NH she was the daughter of Charles and Eva (Arsenault) Perry.

She was a member of St. Joseph Church now known as Good Shepherd Parish.

Dorothy enjoyed Cribbage, Bingo, Knitting, Scrabble, making puzzles, crossword puzzles and playing cards.

She leaves behind her daughter Pauline Arsenault and husband Robert of Berlin, NH; her daughter-in-law Lena Parent of Gorham, NH; 5 grandchildren, Keith Jutras and wife Krisdina, Karen Jutras and companion Roland Lavoie, Joel Arsenault and Fiancee Raelena Simonoko, Kerry Parent and wife Kim and Kevin Parent and wife Sonia and 5 great-grandchildren.

She also leaves behind her sisters, Irene Hanson of Gorham, NH, Doris Pelchat of Berlin, NH, Nancy Nevins of Watertown, MA and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Alcide Parent who passed away in 1958; her second Husband Wilfred "Willie" Chaisson who passed away in 1976; her Companion Dominic Laroche; her son Kenneth Parent and one sister Pearl St. Cyr.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Friday 8:30am to 9:30pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin NH. (use School Street Entrance)

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be held at 10:00am on Friday, December 7, 2013 at St Anne Church of Good Shepard Parish. Burial will follow at Russian City Cemetery in Berlin.
