Dorothy E. "Dolly" Honnon

Dorothy E. Dolly Honnon, 93, passed away on Sunday August 21, 2016 at the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 21, 1923 in Gorham the daughter of the late Rufus and Hazel Mae (London) Chambers and was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Gorham High School and was a former member of the Gorham United Methodist Church. Dolly was a member of the Gorham Congregational Church, UCC. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Nimmy in their camper to Prince Edward Island, snowmobiling and spending time with her grandchildren. Family members include; a daughter Barbara Costa and husband William of Ellington, CT; a son Daniel Honnon of Las Vegas, NV; a sister Madeline Berry of Gorham; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, including Greg Berry and his wife Dawn of Hopkinton, NH. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd E. Nimmy Honnon in 2009. At Dollys request there are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on September 16, 2016 at 1 PM at the Lary Cemetery in Gorham. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of ones choice.
