Doris O'Neil

Berlin, NH

Doris O'Neil formerly of Norway Street passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home in Berlin, NH following a period of declining health. She was 94. Born on April 23, 1918 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Corrine (Gingras) Laroche.

Doris attended local Schools. She married Armond Bellemore. She later married Andrew O'Neil.

Doris had six children of her own and took care of State Children, foster children and private care children. She also raised Nora and Paul Deblois.

Doris enjoyed knitting, traveling, going to camp in Success and visiting family out of town. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

She is predeceased by her parents, her first husband Armond on July 1, 1940 and her second husband Andrew on June 27, 1981 and two sons Raymond Bellemore on April 10, 1984 and Robert O'Neil on July 1, 2001, one brother, Dominic Laroche and six sisters, Beatrice Villeneuve, Yvonne Peters, Simone Guay, Mabel Villeneuve, Delores Leary, Adrienne Verville, and Laurette Gabriel. She is survived by her son Richard Bellemore of Middleton, CT, three daughters, Nancy Leclerc of Portland, CT., Pauline Simonitte of North Hampton, NH and June Marois of Berlin.

Eighteen grandchildren, Thirty four great-grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on January 3, 2013 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.

Burial will follow in St. Kieran Cemetery in Berlin
