Doris M. Poulin

Mrs. Doris M. Poulin, 77, of 51 Glen Road, Gorham, NH passed away on Monday January 1, 2007 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH. She was born in Berlin on March 9, 1929 the daughter of Alfred and Florentine (Dallaire) Carrier and lived in Berlin until 1978, when she and her husband moved to Florida. She returned to Gorham in March of 2005. She had been employed by Evans Department Store and Granite State Rubber. She had been a member of Guardian Angel Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish, and had been presently attending Holy Family Church in Gorham. She enjoyed shopping, sewing, playing Bingo and playing cards. Members of the family include her husband Paul Poulin of Gorham, NH; 3 daughters Jeanie Begin and her husband Bob of Lisbon, ME, Patty Grondin and her husband Roger of Jefferson, NH and Lou Addington and her husband Bill of Jefferson, NH; 2 grandsons Mike and Greg Begin; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 sister Theresa Lareau of Brooksville, FL; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters and 2 grandchildren, Amos Paul Grondin and Katie Addington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 5, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH. Interment will be in the Russian City Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade Street, Gorham, NH on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
