Doris J. (Mercier) Gauthier

Mrs. Doris J. (Mercier) Gauthier, 74, of 577 Lincoln Avenue, Berlin, NH passed away on Saturday July 29, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, NH on Aug. 24, 1931 the daughter of Joseph and Mabel (Blanchette) Mercier and was a lifelong resident. Doris was a graduate of St. Regis Academy and had been employed in the towel room for the Brown Company for 13 years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, she loved music, loved her time out at the Yokohama Restaurant, very much enjoyed her family, especially her grandsons. She was a fabulous cook, she enjoyed piano and her home. Members of the family include her husband of 47 years Lawrence Gauthier of Berlin; 3 daughters Roxanne Roy and her husband Mike, Rachel Horan and her husband Charles and Laurelle Cote and her husband Carl, all of Berlin; 6 grandsons Joseph Roy, Nathan Roy, Brian Horan, Kris Horan, Kyle Newton and Tanner Cote, all of Berlin; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, and 8 brothers and 2 sisters. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning August 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin.
