Doris F (Lemay) Albert

Doris F. (Lemay) Albert passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Coos County Nursing Home. She was 88 years old.



Born on January 13, 1930 in Berlin, she was the daughter of Donat and Yvonne (Pelletier) Lemay. Doris graduated from High School and was employed as a stitcher at Granite State Rubber Company. While employed at Granite State, Doris was part of a contingent that travelled to Puerto Rico to educate locals in the manufacturing of sneakers and shoes.



Doris enjoyed many things, but her husband, family, friends and her pets were most important to her. She enjoyed family gatherings, cookouts and decorating her home. She enjoyed going to Bingo with her longtime friend Theresa Pepin. Doris loved children. She was an avid sports fan, especially local hockey teams. She was a longtime supporter of Berlin Youth and Pee Wee Hockey and will be most remembered for her ringing of the family cow bell when any team scored a goal. She was even voted "Fan of the Year" from the Berlin Youth Hockey League.



Besides her parents she was predeceased by her daughter Yvonne, her sister Therese Bushey of Waterville, ME and her Niece Aline Adams of Sabattus, ME.



She leaves behind her husband Edmond Albert of Berlin; brother-in-law Raymond Albert of Berlin; God daughter Debra Leslie of Strafford, NH, Godson Richard Lemay of Minot, ME; nephew Leo Lemay of Sabattus, ME; Niece Lucy and Maurice Robichaud of Greene, ME and Niece Anita and Mark Austin of Sabattus, ME.



Calling hours will be held at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 10:30am to 12:30pm.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 10th at 1:00pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery.
