Doris Bergeron

Mrs. Doris N. (Wheeler) Bergeron, 70, of Dummer, NH passed away on Saturday afternoon November 4, 2006 at her daughters home in Salem, NH. She was born in Milan, NH on March 27, 1936 the daughter of Andrew and Cora (Scott) Wheeler and was a lifelong resident of Milan and Dummer, NH. Doris had been Town Treasurer for the Town of Dummer for 32 years, a bus driver for the Berlin School System and had been employed by the Brown Company and Johnson & Tankard. She was a member of St. Kieran Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish and was a volunteer for Senior Meals. Members of the family include a daughter Cecilia Bergeron Allen of Salem, NH; a son Neil Bergeron of Stratham, NH; 4 grandchildren Morgan Allen, Bryan Allen and Harrison Allen, all of Salem, NH and Hayden Bergeron of Stratham, NH; 2 brothers Richard Wheeler of Campbell Hall, NY and Wendell Wheeler of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Armand A. Bergeron in 2001 and by her son John S. Bergeron in 1989. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning Nov. 9, 2006 at 11 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant Street, Berlin, NH. Interment will follow in the Willis Cemetery in Dummer. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to the Dummer Public Library or to the Jenn Solar Whalen Scholarship Fund.
