Doreen A. Haskell

Doreen A. Haskell, 79, passed at her home on Friday May 29, 2015. Mrs. Haskell was born in Bristol, NH on February 1, 1936 a daughter of C. Russell and Evelyn Rose (Hill) Adams. She was raised in Bristol and lived in Merrimack for several years, where she worked for 15 years in the cafeteria at Merrimack High School. After retirement she moved to Yuma, AZ and moved to Berlin in 2004. She enjoyed Wednesdays spent with her knitting group, making jewelry, making quilts and ballroom dancing with her husband. Family members include her son Russell Haskell and his wife Lorrie of Lyndeborough, NH, her daughter Cinda Shephard and her husband Tom of Gilford, NH, 4 grandchildren, Anita Martus and her husband Dan, Lisa Cole and her husband Don, Brian Wadleigh and his wife Ashley and Michaela Gedik and her husband Oktay, 8 great grandchildren, a sister Evelyn Haddock and her husband Weldon of Bristol, NH, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Milton John Haskell. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Berlin Police Dept., 135 Green St., Berlin, NH 03570 or the Berlin Emergency Medical Services, 182 East Mason St., Berlin, NH 03570. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin.
