Donald R. Roberge

Mr. Donald R. Roberge, 53, of Rt. 16, Dummer, NH and Akers Pond, NH passed away on Thursday September 28, 2006. He was born in Berlin, NH on October 31, 1952 the son of Maurice A. and Doris M. (Roy) Roberge and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was employed in car sales for 10 years with Currier and the Berlin City Dealerships prior to his employment with Rocky Brands, where he was employed as Territory Sales Manager. He was a past member of the Androscoggin Fish and Game Association and was a past director of the Umbagog Water Fowl Association. Don played soft ball for many years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed hunting with his beloved dog, Austin. He was very well known as Rumor. He enjoyed spending time at Akers Pond. Don was a great father to his daughters and he loved life. Members of the family include his wife Denise (Poirier) Roberge of Dummer, NH; 2 daughters Melissa Dawn Roberge of Manchester, NH and Stacia Mae Roberge of Groveton, NH; 2 brothers Leo M. Roberge and his wife Elaine of Berlin, NH and Norman A. Roberge and his wife Jeanne of Berlin, NH; godson Keith Roberge and his wife Mandy of Gorham, NH; nieces Mia Roberge of Berlin, NH and Jessica Couto and her husband Joseph of Tampa, FL; nephew Nathan Roberge of Gorham, NH; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Maurice and Doris (Roy) Roberge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday October 2, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in St. Anne Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
