Donald R Duquette of Berlin, NH passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 86 at Country Village Center in Lancaster, NH, surrounded by his family. Donald was born in Berlin, NH on August 9th, 1934 to parents Romeo Duquette and Imelda “Mildred” (Lepage) Duquette.



Donald served in the Armed forces for two years stationed in Germany followed by 4 years of service in the National Guard, Berlin, NH. Donald worked 44.5 years for Brown Company, was a member and officer in the Local 75 Union, was a Berlin City Council member for 4 years from 1974-1978 and served the City of Berlin as a volunteer firefighter. After retirement, Donald worked for the Berlin City and Auto North Dealerships of Berlin, NH as a driver for a combined 20 years, where he formed genuine and lasting friendships.



Donald was an avid motorcyclist who thoroughly enjoyed traveling and relished in the days camping and skiing with his family and friends. Donald was a devoted hockey fan with steadfast patronage for his favorite team the Boston Bruins. Donald also was a defense man on a Brown Company hockey team.



Donald is predeceased by his son, Russell Duquette, Berlin NH and brother Roland Duquette and his wife Theresa (Blanchette) Duquette of Bristol, CT. Donald is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years Angele (Dupuis) Duquette, daughter Diann (Duquette) Kashulines and her Husband Peter E Kashulines of Sanbornton, NH; brother Leo Duquette and his wife Doris (Dube) Duquette of Vineland, NJ and many loved cousins, nieces, nephews, and great friends.



Donald will be remembered as a kind and giving man of the highest integrity and will be enormously missed by all who knew him.



A Virtual Memorial Service honoring the lives of both Angele and Donald is planned for Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10am via facebook.com/bryantfuneralhomes. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in Donald’s memory to American Diabetes Association – New England, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, Virginia 22116 or online at diabetes.org.
