Donald P. Guerin, Sr.

Donald P. Guerin, Sr., 73, of Gorham, passed away on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at his home. He was born in Berlin, NH on July 6, 1944 the son of the late Joseph A. and Cecile (Cote) Guerin and lived most of his life in the area. He had been employed as a foreman for the Berlin Mills Railroad for 19 years and had also worked for Chicopee Manufacturing. Donald was a member of Holy Family Church, was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and was active with the 4th of July Committee for many years. Family includes his children Paul Guerin and wife Christine of Liberty Township, OH, Donald P. Guerin, Jr. of Gorham, NH, Linda Smith of Manchester, NH and Frank Bearse of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Bailey, Valerie, Sydney and Olivia; sisters Helen Viger and husband Russell of Milan, NH, Arlene LaLande of Berlin, NH and Carol Roy and husband Paul of Exeter, NH; cousins, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife Alma S. (Gendron) Guerin in 2016 and his step-father Dominic Laroche. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham on Thursday from 6-8 PM.
