Donald P. Bucky Guerin

Donald Patrick "Bucky" Guerin of Berlin passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 06, 2019 at the Morrison Nursing Home where he spent only a few days. He was 71 years old.



Born in Berlin on March 17, 1948 he was the son of John and Ida (Lavoie) Guerin. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1968. Following graduation he was drafted and served in the United States Army where he fought in the Vietnam War. Donald returned from the War and met his wife Louise Nadeau. They were married on September 25, 1971 and together they raised two children. He was a Pulp Operation at James River Corporation.



Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy was his family; he always attended his childrens sporting events. He enjoyed being outdoors, snow machining, fishing, and rabbit hunting. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the Beagle Club. He also enjoyed playing cards, and riding his motorcycle.



Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Leo, Raymond, Dennis, Armand and Norman Guerin; and his sisters Delores Drouin and Christine Supry.



He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years Louise (Nadeau) Guerin of Berlin, a son William Guerin and wife Cindy of Poland, ME; a daughter Pamela Guerin and fianc Tracy Coy of Berlin; grandchildren Ashton and Ian Guerin of Poland, ME; a brother Robert Guerin and wife Jeanne of Berlin, NH; a sister Marie Bisson of Milan; and several nieces and nephews.



Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 12th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, and on Thursday June 13th from 8:30am to 9:30am at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 13th at 10:00am at St. Anne Church of Good Shephard Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
