Donald F. Lamontagne

Donald F. Lamontagne, 79, of Gorham, NH passed away on Tuesday January 13, 2015 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was born in Berlin, NH on September 5, 1935 the son of Joseph and Florence (Goudreau) Lamontagne and was raised and educated in the Old Orchard Beach-Biddeford, ME area. Donald served with the US Marine Corps and returned to the Gorham area in 1970 to raise his family. He had been employed as a manager at Grants Super Market in Glen, NH, retiring in 2012 and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish, snowmobile and spend time with his children and grandchildren, teaching them about the outdoors. He was very supportive of his grandchildrens sporting events and also followed the New England teams. Family includes his wife Mary Jane (Burgess) Lamontagne of Gorham; his children Thomas Lamontagne and partner Ruth Ann of Glen, NH, Jennifer Fall and partner Larry of Intervale, NH and Kimberly Couture and husband David of Glen, NH; grandchildren Cody Fall of Boston, MA, Kyle Fall of Intervale, NH, Bryan Lamontagne of Glen, NH, Kristine Lamontagne of North Conway, NH, Shane Couture of Glen, NH and Colby Couture of Glen, NH; brother-in-law Allan Burgess; nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 21, 2015 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH. An open house will be held on January 21, 2015, after the funeral, from 1 to 4 PM at the home of Kim and David Couture, 33 Glen Ledger Rd, Glen, NH.
