Donald E. Cote

Donald E. Cote, 51, of Berlin, passed away suddenly on Wednesday December 30, 2015. He was born in Berlin on November 9, 1964 the son of Rosaire and Helen (Murray) Cote and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Berlin High School with the Class of 1982 and graduated from the NH Vocational Technical College. Don had been employed by White Mountain Lumber for many years and prior to that, he had been employed in the tractor shop for Crown Vantage Corp. He enjoyed bowling, camping, skiing and loved his family, cooking and working on cars. Family members include his sons Thomas Cote of Berlin, NH and Brian Cote and partner Thomas Levesque of Denver, CO; his mother Helen Cote of Berlin, NH; his longtime partner Debra Oleson of Berlin, NH; his brothers Richard Cote of Pittsfield, MA, Carl Cote and wife Laurelle of Berlin, NH and Gerard Cote and wife Mary Ann of Somersworth, NH; his sister Christine OHara and husband Edward of Barrington, NH; multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father Rosaire Cote in 1996. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday January 5, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Mother Marie Rivier Food Pantry or the American Heart Association.
