Desiree M. Corbeil

Desiree M. Corbeil, 27, of Berlin, passed away on Saturday December 5, 2015 at her home. She was born in Berlin on October 20, 1988, the daughter of Michel G. Corbeil and Diane R. (Dubord) Lapointe and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Berlin High with the Class of 2007. Desiree was a very strong person who had overcome health obstacles throughout her life and had been a survivor of a double lung transplant for the past six years. She loved her dogs and her family was everything to her. She enjoyed going to camp and spending time with her close friends. She was a very loving and giving person who had a very big heart. Family includes her parents Diane Lapointe and husband Mark of Berlin and her father Michel Corbeil of Dummer; her brother Travis Lapointe of Berlin; her stepbrother Kyle Lapointe of Berlin; her stepsister Katie Lapointe of Berlin; aunts, uncles and cousins. She leaves behind her dogs Lilly and Charlie who were the love of her life. She was predeceased by her grandparents Jacques and Marie Corbeil and Marie Paule and Lionel Dubord. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday December 11, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to Brigham & Womens Hospital, Development Office, 75 Francis St., Boston, MA, 02115 to be directed towards organ transplants.
