Denise A (Poirier) Lavoie

Berlin, NH

Denise A. (Poirier) Lavoie passed away on Wednesday April 13, 2016 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital surrounded by family. She was 50.

Born on December 17, 1965 in Berlin, she was the daughter of Rene and Doris (Gagnon) Poirier.

Denise was loved by her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a caring person and was always there for those she loved. In the summer she loved spending time outside in the sun and having barbeques with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Averie, reading her books and playing games.

She is predeceased by her Godmother Alice Poirier who passed away last year.

She will be deeply missed by her family, she leaves behind two sons; Joshua Lavoie and wife Heather of Manchester, NH, Dana Lavoie and girlfriend Amanda Pike of Berlin; a granddaughter Averie Lavoie; her parents Rene and Doris Poirier; two brothers David Poirier and wife Stacy and Steve Poirier and wife Amy all of Berlin; nephew Ryan Poirier and nieces Kara Poirier and Lacey Poirier. Several Cousins and friends.

A calling hour will be held prior to the Mass on Monday, April 18th from 8:30am to 9:30am and Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 18th at 10:00am at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Berlin. Burial will be at St. Kierans Cemetery at a later date.
