Denise A. Hallee

Denise A. Hallee, 75, of Dummer, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec on January 26, 1947 the daughter of Andre and Marie (Rodrigue) Chouinard. Denise grew up in Canada, and migrated to the United States following her marriage to Gilles Hallee. The couple settled in the Jackman, ME area before moving to Milan in 1971 when the family opened Milan Industries, now known as Milan Lumber Co. Throughout her life Denise enjoyed gardening, tending to her home in which she took great pride, and reading books in both English and French. She was a wonderful cook and took great pride in her family.

She is survived by her husband Gilles Hallee of Dummer, NH; mother Marie Chouinard of Sherbrooke, PQ; sons Allain Hallee and wife Julie of Dummer, NH and Bruno Hallee and wife Kelly of Milan; daughter Dany Keefe of Gilford, NH; several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren Layla and Braeleigh; sisters Lisette and Lucy. She was predeceased by her daughter Kathy Hallee and her father Andre Chouinard.
