Delphis J. Arsenault

Mr. Delphis J. Arsenault joined his Heavenly Father on March 11, 2013, surround by his family at Country Village Nursing Home in Lancaster, NH. He was born in Berlin, New Hampshire on April 30, 1918, the son of William and Marie (Dupres) Arsenault. Del was a veteran for the US Army and served in World War II; he was honorably discharged in 1943. He worked for the City of Berlin retiring at the age of 63. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He also loved to vacation in Old Orchard Beach, ME with his family and his wife, Lorraine. He is survived by two daughters, Susan McNeil and husband Richard of Berlin, Lorna Roy of Bethel, VT. A granddaughter, Michelle Delafontaine and husband Raymond of Berlin, his two great grandchildren Kayla and Kyle Delafontaine of Berlin. His brother Leon Arsenault of Berlin and a sister Lillian Arsenault of Berlin. A niece, Julie McLain and husband Steven of Milan and a nephew Mark Tyler of Berlin. He is predeceased by his parents, his wife of 38 years Lorraine (Thorne) Arsenault who passed away in 1988, his sister Beatrice Arsenault in 2004 and a grandson Gary McNeil in 1979. Friends and relatives may call on the family Thursday March 14, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave, Berlin. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
