David E. Scates

David E. Scates, 58, of Berlin, passed away on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at his home. He was born in Methuen, MA and grew up in Plaistow, NH and attended school there. He lived in Effingham and North Conway before moving to Berlin 15 years ago. He had been employed at Northern NH Community Services and enjoyed taking bus trips to Boston, MA. He is survived by his parents Barbara and Roland Davis of Fountain Inn, SC; his siblings Steven L. Scates of Effingham, NH, Roberta Davis of Effingham, NH, Michael Davis of Portland, ME and Ricky Davis of Concord, NH; his maternal grandmother Eva Bouchicas of Effingham, NH; several nieces, nephews, half brothers and sisters. There will be no services at this time. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
