Corbetta Lebel

Mrs. Corbetta Lebel, 57, of 851 Western Ave in Berlin passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. She was born in Chipman, New Brunswick, Canada on April 6, 1952 the daughter of Corbett and Helen (Perkins) Fairweather and moved to Berlin when she was five years old. She was an artist and taught ceramics for many years in the area. She had a beautiful smile, was a very good friend to people and was a defender of the underprivileged. She was a child advocate, an avid volunteer for the Humane Society, the Earth Day contact for Coos County for many years and was a member of the National Federation of the Blind. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and painting. Members of her family include her husband Rene Lebel of Berlin, NH; a son Michael Barrett of Muffreesboro, TN; a very special Aunt Mary West of Chipman, New Brunswick; many good friends; aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. Memorial Calling Hours will be held on Monday, February 1, 2010 from 7 to 9 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave. in Berlin, NH.
