Mr. Constant N. Ace Blais, 76, of 539 Lincoln Avenue, Berlin passed away on Saturday May14, 2005 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in East Angus, PQ, Canada on October 15, 1928 the son of Arthur and Alice (Duquet) Blais and has lived in Berlin since he was 6. He was a US Army Veteran having served in Europe during the Korean War. He had been employed by Brown Company in the service garage and James River Corp. as a company mail carrier. He was a member of St. Anne Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish, the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW, the F.O.E and the Knights of Columbus. Members of the family include his wife Irene (Robichaud) Blais of Berlin; 1 daughter Constance Croteau and husband Michael of Berlin; 2 grandsons Andrew and Eric Croteau of Berlin; 1 brother Marcil Blais of Manchester, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by 1 sister Priscilla Vaillancourt and 3 brothers Val Blais, Herve Blais and Paul Blais. A Private Family Funeral will be held on Monday May 16, 2005 at 3:30 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin. Interment will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery.
