Chester Boucher

April 28, 1938 — October 11, 2013

Chester G. "Chet" Boucher, 75, of Main Street passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 28, 1938 in Berlin, NH, he was the son of the late Walter and Bella (Pomerleau) Boucher.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his wife and love of his life Julienne, his brothers Frank and Paul Boucher, his brother-in-laws Norman Nolan and Roger Montminy, his sister-in-law Marilyn Boucher and his beloved niece Anne Marie Nolan.

He is survived by his son Steve and his wife Tracy, his daughter Laura, his three grandchildren CJ, Mathew and Kyle and his sister-in-laws Lucille Nolan, Jeannine Montminy and Jackie Boucher.

Chet was a 1957 graduate of Berlin High School and was employed for over 30 years at Wausau Paper Company in Groveton before retiring in 1998. Prior to that, he served as a chef in the Army and was honorably discharged.

He enjoyed going for coffee with his friends, playing bingo, watching the Patriots and everything about the Oxford Casino. His greatest love was his family; he was a loving, caring and devoted, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family and all of his friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Thursday, October 17 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Berlin. There are no calling hours.

A celebration of his life will take place at Sinabaldi's immediately following the mass. All are welcome.

Arrangements are by Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street.
