Charles W Wentworth

Charles W. Wentworth, 80, of Gorham, NH passed away on Sunday February 16, 2014 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Lancaster, NH on January 27, 1934 and was the son of Gardner E. an d Ruth (Currier) Wentworth. He served in the US Air Force for 20 years and was employed as a bookkeeper for Isaacsons. Charles loved fishing, golfing and bowling. Family members include his 3 sons Charles Wentworth, Jr. of Gorham, NH, Mitchell Wentworth of West Palm Beach, FL and Russell Wentworth of Monument, CO; 2 daughters Kathleen Finnigan of Berlin, NH and Leslie Paine of Lancaster, NH: 5 grandchildren Jake Wentworth, Nick Wentworth, Abigail McShinsky, Andrew Paine and Steven Jordan. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, a daughter Joanne Jordan and a brother, Robert. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday evening at 7:30 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 to 7:30 PM, prior to the service.
