Cecile M (Bourbeau) Villeneuve

Cecile Marie (Bourbeau) Villeneuve died peacefully at Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin, NH on January 4, 2018 at the age of 86 after a long battle with Dementia and Multiple Sclerosis.

Cecile was born on July 14, 1931 in Berlin, NH to Gaudias Bourbeau and Eva (Provencher) Bourbeau, she was one of 10 children, four of her sisters died very young; she was the last living child of her parents.

She married the love of her life, Norman J. Villeneuve on March 19, 1949. They had one child a daughter, Louise Mary (Villeneuve) Dupuis on October 19, 1949.

Cecile is survived by her granddaughter, Michelle (Butkiewicz) Pimentel, of Berlin, NH; a grandson Sean Butkiewicz of Belin, NH; her great granddaughter, Brianna Butkiewicz and Brianna's boyfriend, David Thibault of Andover, NH, niece Linda (Bourbeau) Belanger and her husband Marcel of Berlin; niece Laurette Bourbeau of Berlin, NH; niece Diane Bourbeau of Milan, NH; nephew, Mark Bourbeau; nephew Paul Bourbeau; niece Elaine (Tellier) Borowski and her husband Frank of Gorham, NH; nephew Maurice Tellier of Gorham, NH; niece Rejeanne and her husband Norris 'Webb' Ridgeway of South Carolina; nephew Louis Chouinard of Littleton, NH; great niece Melissa Borowski and great nephew Captain USAF, Matthew Borowski; as well as many other cousins and friends.

Cecile was preceded in death by her father Gaudias Bourbeau on June 3, 1955; mother Eva Bourbeau on July 24, 1967; her daughter, Louise Mary (Villeneuve) Dupuis on September 30, 2014; her husband, Norman J. Villeneuve on December 16, 1997; sister, Yvonne (Bourbeau) Robichaud on October 6, 1994; sister, May (Bourbeau) Berry on September 8, 1994; brother, Robert Bourbeau on August 5, 1968; brother, Marcel Bourbeau on July 1, 2002; and brother, Henri Bourbeau on September 20, 1985.

Cecile was employed at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in the Purchasing & Receiving Department. She retired in 1993 after nearly 20 years of service.

Cecile loved anything chocolate and her favorite color was yellow. Her husband and daughter always made sure she had yellow roses for special occasions.

Cecile loved her family and enjoyed her time with them and her friends, some who were as close as family.

Cecile was a member of the VFW Woman's Auxiliary for many years and was actually a lifetime member.

On Monday, January 8, 2018, there will be a calling hour from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin, NH 03570 followed by a Mass at St. Anne's Church of Good Shepherd Parish at 1:00pm. Burial will be in the Villeneuve family plot with her husband and daughter at the Mt. Cavalry Cemetery on Cates Hill, Berlin.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent in Cecile's memory to Coos County Nursing Home, PO Box 416, Berlin, NH 03570 or to the AVH Auxiliary, 59 Page Hill Road, Berlin, NH 03570.

Cecile's family would like to thank the staff at Coos County Nursing Home and the Androscoggin Valley Hospital staff for the care that Cecile received.
