Mrs. Carolyn M. (Brown) Tanguay, 72, of 166 East Milan Road, Berlin, NH went home to be with the Lord on Saturday October 13, 2007. She was born in Albany Township, ME on March 10, 1935 the daughter of George and Jennie (Kimball) Brown and grew up in that area. She married Louis Tanguay on May 11, 1957 and spent 20 years with her husband in the Military and moved to Gorham in 1971 and resided there until they moved to Berlin in 1990. Carolyn was a member of Lambs Chapel, she loved to sing and was a member of the Air Force Choir. She won the S.A.C. church choir competition and was a loving mother and homemaker. Members of the family include her husband of 50 years Louis Tanguay of Berlin, NH; four sons Paul W. Tanguay of Titusville, FL, Louis J. Tanguay of Gorham, NH; Arthur G. Tanguay of Kittery, ME and Tony A. Tanguay of Rochester, NH; three daughters Kristi L. Bassett of Sandown, NH, Tammy A. Sketchley of Jensen Beach, FL and Bonnie S. Emerson of Deering, NH; eleven grandchildren including a grandson Nathan, who is currently serving in Iraq; a sister Arlene Tanguay of Gorham, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter Lisa L. Tanguay and by her parents. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon October 16, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham, NH. Interment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery in Gorham, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association or to Lambs Chapel in her memory.
