Caroline M Brassard

Surrounded by her loving family, Caroline (Hickey) Brassard, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2016.

Caroline was born on November 11, 1928, in Berlin, NH, the daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (Mitchell) Hickey. She lived much of her life in Berlin, NH but spent the last 18 years residing in Western, MA.

Caroline's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. In particular, she enjoyed the company of her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them at family gatherings. She will be deeply missed by everyone.

Caroline was predeceased by her devoted husband, Robert George Brassard and her son, Michael Robert Brassard.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Brassard) Jones and her husband Robert, her daughter-in-law Beverly Brassard, her sisters Evelyn Hickey and Gloria Sloane and her husband Robert, sister-in-law Sylvia Toussaint and brother-in-law Leon Brassard and his wife Jeanette.

Caroline also leaves behind six grandchildren, Michael Brassard, Jill (Brassard) Pszeniczny, Christopher Wroblewski, Bridget (Jones) Stone, Patrick Jones and Brendan Jones, eight great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne's Church of Good Shepherd Parish on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Family and friends may pay their respects at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home Saturday morning beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Berlin, NH.
