Carol S. (Pratt) Wentworth

Mrs. Carol S. (Pratt) Wentworth, 62, of 48 Plain Road, West Dummer, NH passed away on Monday morning December 31, 2007 at her home. She was born in Lewiston, ME on Jan. 25, 1945 the daughter of Clarence and Louise (Watts) Pratt and had lived in the area for most of her life. Carol had been employed by the US Postal Service for 31 years and retired in 2004. She devoted most of her life to helping others. She attended Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Berlin. Members of the family include her husband of 43 years Allen Wentworth of West Dummer; three sons Colin Wentworth of Stark, Spencer Wentworth of Dummer and Brandon Wentworth of Stark; a sister Valerie Martel of Burlington, VT; a brother Alan Pratt of Mexico, Maine; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Bernice Lapierre. As precious moments in time pass, we reflect upon what matters most. Your undying love, your compassion for others, your steadfast faith in our Lord. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning Jan. 3, 2007 at 11 AM at the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church, Willow Street, Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the Sand Hill Cemetery in West Dummer. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes may make a donation to the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in her memory.
