Carol Bigl

Carol J. Bigl, 74, of Gorham, NH passed away on Sunday September 25, 2016. She was born in Boston, MA on April 13, 1942 the daughter of Lawrence E. and Gladys E. (Perham) MacDougall and was raised in Rye, NH. She lived in Portsmouth and Woodsville prior to coming to Gorham many years ago. Carol was a member of the Woodsville United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Gorham Methodist Church. She loved sewing in her younger years, loved her grandchildren and loved the Lord. Family includes her daughters Barbara Ann Coalson and husband James of Glade Spring, VA and Colleen Parker and husband Matthew of Gorham, NH; 4 granddaughters Elizabeth, Anna, Cassidy and Melody; step children and step grandchildren; sisters Verlie Ther of Dover, NH and Gail Christen of NY; nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt who was like a sister Patty Wedge of OR. She was predeceased by her husband John Bigl, a daughter Carol Ann Adams and a brother Lawrence MacDougall. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 30, 2016 at 11 AM at the Jefferson Christian Church, 701 Presidential Highway, Jefferson, NH. Interment of the cremains will follow in the Mt. Hayes Cemetery in Gorham. There will be no calling hours.
