Carmen R. (Martin) Anctil, 79, of Berlin, passed away on February 28, 2013 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center from injuries sustained in a car accident. She was surrounded by her six children. Born in Chartierville, PQ on July 30, 1933, the daughter of Emile and Antonia (Laflamme) Martin, she resided in the Berlin area for over 58 years. She was married Flavien Anctil and raised six children. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Gamm, Bass Shoe and the Riverside Motor Inn. She loved gardening, card games, playing BINGO and working on puzzles. She is survived by her four daughters, Diane Beaudoin of Merrimack, NH; Helen Nicoletti and her husband Richard of Berlin; Flavie Anctil her fiance, Paul Audet of Stark; and Josee Brannen and her husband James of Dover, NH; and her two sons, Michel and companion, Gail Nadeau of Gorham and Paul of Errol. She is also survived by her brothers, Marcel Martin and his wife, Dolores, and Viateur Martin of Sherbrooke, PQ; and Yvon Martin and his wife, Lise of Montreal, PQ; and one sister, Bella Lauzon of Drummondville, PQ. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Flavien, on March 3, 1970; sisters, Therese Bouchard, Lucille Proulx and Muriel Lafleur; brothers, Roland, Leo and Lucien Martin; and granddaughter Amy Muzzey. Friends and relatives may call on the family at the Chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH on Sat. March 9, 2013 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday March 9 at 1:00 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant Street, Berlin. Interment will be in the spring at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association or to the local VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
