Carline M. Murphy

CARLINE M. MURPHY SHELBURNE, NH Carline M. (Rayner) Murphy, 71, of Shelburne, passed away on Sunday January 10, 2016 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Berlin on August 9, 1944 the daughter of the late Carlton and Madeline (Reardon) Rayner and was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Berlin High School in 1962 and from the Elliot Hospital School of Nursing in 1965. Upon graduating from nursing school, she had been employed as an RN at Weeks Hospital for 2 years and then at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home for 20 years. Carline cherished spending time with family and her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart. Carline attended Holy Family Church, was a member of the Red Hat Society, like cross country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking. Carline also enjoyed traveling, especially in the Canadian Provinces and to Ireland with cousins. She was also an avid Red Sox, Bruins and Portland Pirates fan. Family includes her husband Howard Murphy of Shelburne, NH; daughters Kelly White and husband Jeff of Pembroke, NH and Colleen Moore and husband Josh of Cobbs Creek, VA; son Shane Murphy and wife Joanna Winningham of Steep Falls, ME; grandchildren Jason and Kaitlin White, Dusty and Kaylee Moore; sister Glenda Bucken of Laconia, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Gary Rayner. Private Family Services were held at the Bryant Funeral Home in Gorham, NH. The family is accepting donations to be donated to a charity of ones choice.
