Brenda M Gagne

Brenda Gagne of Western Avenue passed away on April 12, 2016 at Catholic Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was 58.

Born in Burlington Vermont on February 17, 1958 she was the daughter of William and Virginia (Richards) Gonyeau.

Brenda grew up in Vermont and was a graduate of Milton High School in 1976 and a graduate of UVM in 1980. She was a loving and devoted teacher in the Berlin School District for 36 years. As quoted by a parent "If you knew Brenda, then you experienced her warm hugs, kind smile and thoughtful heart."

She was a beloved mother, wife and friend. She treasured the time she spent with her family. She enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, needlework and traveling to New York City. She loved to begin her summer days sitting on her swing with her dog reading on her Kindle. She was a member of the FOE Berlin Chapter, she had been an active member of the Girl Scouts, and a member of the quilters guild, a current coordinator of Robotics for Hillside School and she performed in many productions with Theatre North.

She was predeceased by her parents; a sister Carol Mable and husband Bruce and brother-in-law Daniel Gagne.

She leaves behind her husband Richard Gagne of Berlin; a son Bradley Wallace and fianc Megan Wright of Biddeford, ME; a daughter Rebecka Wallace of Berlin; a brother Richard Gonyeau of Milton, VT; two sisters Sharon Pedrick and husband Richard of Rochester, NH; Shelia Reagan and husband Brian of Florida; her in-laws Michael Gagne of Manchester, Pierre Gagne and wife Cindy of New York, Louise Martel and husband Bernie of Berlin, Anne-Marie Labonte and husband George of Berlin, Nicole Plourde and husband Richard of Berlin; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 15th, 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Saturday morning 10:00am to 11:00am at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH

A Chapel Service will follow on Saturday, April 16th at 11:00am.

Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
