Brenda Lee (Giroux) Hawkins of Hutchins Street died unexpectedly Monday (September 8, 2014) at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH. She was 52.

Born on November 19, 1961 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Real JL and Louise (Mailloux) Giroux.

Brenda was a lifelong resident of Berlin and was a 1979 graduate of Berlin High School.

She was employed as a machine operator for over 25 years at Brown Company and retired due to disability from James River Corporation.

She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, and skiing.

Besides her father, she is pre-deceased by her grandparents Albert and Mary Mailloux and Leon and Edna Giroux, a nephew Jason Houle and a fiancAC.e of many years Gary Rayner.

She leaves behind her mother Louise Giroux; a daughter Lindsay Barron and companion Justin Tempke of Berlin, NH, a brother Daniel Giroux and companion Jennifer Letellier and six sisters Ginette Marino of Berlin, Carol Arguin and husband Donald of Randolph, NH, Joanne Giroux and companion Frank Sherba of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lise Stanford and husband Tony of Waterloo, AL, Diane Giroux of Intervale, NH, and Michelle Dube and husband Gary of Berlin, NH. She also leaves behind her companion Richard Pivin; a granddaughter Chloe Bean, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews including Jonathan Marino and companion Tracie Malloy, Brittany, Hailey and Jonathan Marino Jr, Katie Houle and companion Aaron Blais, Jayden Perry, Travis Houle, Jakob and Zackary Giroux, Ryleigh Bouchard, Kamryn Giroux, Alyssa Stanford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, September 13th at St. Anne's Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin.

Calling hours will be held from 7:30am to 9:30am Saturday prior to the Mass at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
