Blanche M Bergeron

Blanche Marie Bergeron, 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at St Vincent de Paul Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Blanche was born in Gilead, ME, on December 12, 1919, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Elise (Fortin) Desfosses.

In 1944 Blanche married Alcide Bergeron and together they two raised a daughter and a son.

She was employed at Converse Rubber Company as a stitcher.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her greatest love was her family, she was a very loving, caring and devoted, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She devoted her life to helping others and took in several foster children over the years and raised them as her own. She enjoyed Bingo and spending time with people.

She was preceded in death by her parents her husband Alcide in 1980 as well as her eleven brothers and sisters; 6 brothers Rosario, William, Theodore, Thomas, Loria and Florien and 5 sisters Parmilia, Florence, Bernadette, Doris and Dora. Her son-in-law Kenneth Burke and her foster grandson Freddie Mason.

She leaves behind a daughter Betty Burke of Clinton, IL and a son Kenneth Bergeron and his wife Patricia of Berlin and her foster daughter Rose Mason and her husband Richard of Berlin. She also leaves four grandchildren; David Burk, Ronald Burk, Rick Burk and Debra MacDonald, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin. The services will follow immediately at the Funeral Home at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at New City Cemetery in Berlin, NH

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St Vincent de Paul, Activity Fund, 29 Providence Avenue, Berlin, NH 03570
