Betty (Pelotte) Croteau, 72, of Westcott St., Berlin, NH passed away at her home on Thursday evening March 5, 2015.Mrs. Croteau was born in Whitefield on December 12, 1942 a daughter of Clayton and Alberta (Heath ) Pelotte and was raised for most of her childhood in Twin Mountain. She graduated from Littleton High School. After high school she married and moved to Berlin where she and her husband Ron lived. Together they owned and operated North Country Carpet Cleaning for over 25 years. Betty was a quiet, friendly and welcoming women who enjoyed Bingo, puzzles, baking and crocheting. She enjoyed traveling on weekends to Portland with her husband. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. Betty loved spending time and caring for her grandchildren and recently enjoyed the birth of her first great gran daughter who she referred to as "beautiful". Members of the family include her sons Jeff Croteau and wife Cheri of Berlin NH and Scott Croteau of Berlin, NH: daughter Lynn Johnson and husband Jack of Milan, NH: 7 grandchildren Kellie Croteau, Scott Croteau, Wade Croteau, Ty Croteau, Autumn Johnson, Jared Johnson and Lacey Johnson; 1 great grandchild Aryanna Rose Croteau, 2 brothers Donald Pelotte and Clayton Pelotte Jr., 3 sisters Barbara Burnell, Beatrice, and Judith Dexter. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Ronald E. Croteau on July 24, 2012 and 2 sisters Ruby and Virginia. A funeral service will be held on Thursday March 12, 2015 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave. Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 9-10 AM prior to the service.
