Berttina M. Fortin

Mrs. Berttina M. Fortin, 70, of 421 Main Street, Berlin, NH passed away on April 15, 2008 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH with her family by her side. She was born in Berlin, NH on November 13, 1937 the daughter of Harold and Bessie (Delano) Wagner and was a lifelong resident. She enjoyed doing genealogy, playing computer games, was an avid doll collector and enjoyed spending time with her family. Members of the family include 3 daughters Liza M. Perry and husband Ronald of Berlin, NH, Cindy Hawkins of Idaho Falls, ID, Laura Fortin and fiance Eddie Costella of Bristol, NH; 3 sons Valney Fortin and wife Nancy of Lisbon, NH, Mark Fortin of Berlin, NH and Jonathan Fortin and fiance Cindy Bisson of Berlin, NH; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers Arnold Wagner and wife Linda of Berlin, NH, Vernon Wagner of SC, and Chester Wagner and wife Doris of Berlin, NH; 2 sisters Jean Shields and husband Ken of West Milan, NH and Elizabeth Wagner of Berlin, NH; a long time companion Richard Kimball of Groveton, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Maurice Fortin and a daughter Sharon. Private Services will be held at the Bryant Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in the New City Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
