Bernice M. Bisson

Bernice M. Bisson, 90, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday morning December 10, 2014, with her family by her side. Mrs. Bisson was born in Manchester, NH on March 19, 1924 a daughter of John J. and Florence Z. (Hitchen) Wheeler. She was a lifelong resident of the Milan and Berlin area and was a graduate of Berlin High School. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and bird watching and especially spending time visiting with her grandchildren and family. Members of the family include her daughter Gail Charron and husband Larry of Berlin and two sons Steven Bisson and wife Ann of Milan and Keith Bisson and wife Celeste of Berlin, 3 grandchildren, Michael Bisson and his wife Lynn, Jacob Bisson and Andrew Bisson, 4 great grandchildren, a sister in-law Lorraine Pinette, 2 brother in-laws Rene Bisson and his wife Lorraine Bill and Donald Bisson, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Richard D. Bisson in 2004 and two sons Richard Rick J. Bisson in 1986 and Kevin M. Bisson in 2013, a brother Thomas Wheeler and a sister Pearl Murphy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 13, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Saturday morning prior to Mass from 8 to 9 AM. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or a charity of ones choice.
