Mrs. Beatrice Y. Lizie of 10 Malloy Avenue in Gorham, NH passed away suddenly on March 16, 2013 at her home. She was 85 years old.

She was born on September 1, 1927 to Victor and Angeline (Viger) Lachapelle and was a 1945 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper at Evan's Department Store and retired in 1981. Beatrice was a communicant of St. Anne's Church and Holy Family Church. In recent years she enjoyed travelling throughout the United States and Canada and always looked forward to her next excursion.

In addition to her parents, Beatrice was pre-deceased by her first husband, Lucien Couture in 1970, her second husband, Richard Lizie in 2011, her sister Mrs. Irene (Lachapelle) Morin in 2008, her brother Mr. Robert Lachapelle in 1986 and her brother Mr. Arthur Lachapelle in 2000. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Doris (Lachapelle) Blanchette and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday March 23, 2013 at St. Anne's Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will be at St. Kieran's Cemetery in Berlin.
