Armand T Arguin

Armand T. Arguin, 83, of Forbush Avenue, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Coos County Nursing Home surrounded by his family.

Armand was born in Berlin, NH, on May 15, 1929 the son of the late Willie N. and Anne- Marie (Gosselin) Arguin.

He attended Guardian Angel School in Berlin and also attended school in Victoriaville, P.Q.

On July 3, 1950 he married Doris T. Francoeur of Berlin.

Retiring on April 1, 1989, he worked as an assistant superintendent in the Central Steam Department for Brown Company/ James River Paper Corp in Berlin, NH.

Armand served in the National Guard Reserves for 21 years.

He was a member of the Guardian Angel Parish which later became Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin, NH. He was also a member of The Holy Name Society, Canados Society, Marie Rivier Associates, a 3rd, Degree Knight of Columbus, Knights of the Holy Sepulchre, American Legion post # 82 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

For more than 30 years, he served Guardian Angel Credit Union in many capacities including President, Vice-President, Director, and Board Member.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His greatest love was his family. He was a very loving, caring and devoted, father and husband. He will be remembered for his exceptional woodworking and for the time he spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris (Francoeur) Arguin; four sons: Daniel Arguin and his wife Lisa of Berlin, NH, David Arguin and his wife Valerie of Hooksett, NH, Donald Arguin and his wife Barbara of Sullivan, NH and Paul Arguin and his wife Nicole of Berlin, NH; three daughters Denise Lepage of Nashua, NH, Gisele McKenzie and her husband Rick of Berlin, NH and Pauline Suitter and her husband Darrell of Berlin, NH; 6 grandchildren; Tiffany (Suitter) Sorrentino and husband Phillip, Benjamin Arguin, Kayla Arguin, Johanna Arguin, Jenna Arguin and John Arguin, his brother Bernard Arguin and wife Peggy of Hampton, NH and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Marguerite De Angelis

Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am at St. Anne's Church of Good Shepherd Parish on Wednesday, April 3,2013. Burial will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
