Armand E. Cotnoir

Mr. Armand E. Cotnoir, 78, of 28 Tenth Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Monday June 29, 2009 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in St. Hermenegilde, PQ, Canada on January 14, 1931 the son of Leonide and Albertine (Henault) Cotnoir and moved to the US in 1962. He moved to Berlin in 1963. He was a mechanic for his brother at Renes Auto Sales and then started working for Brown Company in 1974, where he worked on the #9 paper machine for 17 years, retiring from Crown Vantage. Family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren. Armand loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and working on small engines. He was a member of the Millsfield Sportsmans Club. Members of the family include his wife Gilberte (Allaire) Cotnoir of Berlin, NH; a daughter Johanne Mercier and husband Daniel of Berlin, NH; a son Daniel Cotnoir and wife Lynn of Berlin, NH; grandchildren Melinda and Tyler; brothers Germain Cotnoir and Andre Cotnoir both of St. Hermenegilde, PQ, Canada; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers Robert Cotnoir, Roger Cotnoir and Rene Cotnoir and 2 sisters Simone Fillion and Raymonde Cotnoir. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 2, 2009 at 11 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
