Antoinette Mcgee

Antoinette "Tony" (Jean) McGee, 100, a longtime resident of Burgess Street, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin where she spent the past year.

Born on May 19, 1915 in Lewiston ME, she was the daughter of Francois and Adelaide (Veilleux) Jean.

Antoinette was employed as a lacer at Granite State Rubber Company, she retired in 1978.

She was a communicant of Guardian Angel Church now St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.

Antoinette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking, dancing, playing cards and loved to exercise. She was a volunteer with various groups, Special Olympics and Senior Meals.

Besides her parents, Antoinette is pre-deceased by her husband Armand R. McGee, and son Rene McGee; two brothers Alfred Jean and Rosario Jean; a half sister Therese Boudreau; two sister-in-laws Jeanette Kluchnick and Edith Jean and a step sister Genevea Legendre.

Her family includes her loving daughter Paulette Turmel and husband Leo of Berlin, a daughter-in-law Pauline McGee of Berlin; five grandchildren Diane Lamontange and husband Steve of Litchfield, NH, Mark McGee and wife Donna of Thornton, NH, Scott Turmel and wife Kelly of Berlin, NH, Dan Turmel and wife Leslie of Hookset, NH, Tyler Reidy of Thornton, NH; six great-grandchildren Brittney, Logan, Nathan, Tiah, Tyler, Kaitlin; two great-great grandchild Emma and Joey; special nephew and niece Gene Boudreau and wife Beatrice and Susan Crotty and husband Mark, and niece Doris Baillargeon and husband Skid.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 18th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Wednesday from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Fleury Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH 03570

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm Wednesday, August 19th at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Rev. Andrew Nelson will officiate. Burial will be at St. Kieran's Cemetery in Berlin.

Arrangements are under the care of Fleury-Patry Funeral Home.
