Annette M. Denis

Mrs. Annette M. Denis, 91, of 224 Church Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Saturday September 20, 2008 at her home. She was born in Berlin, NH on November 5, 1916 the daughter of John and Eugenie (Dechamplain) Mainguy. She lived in Berlin as a child and attended Berlin High School. She moved to New York in 1939 and resided there until 1972 where she and her husband, Spiro Verrie, owned and operated a restaurant. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. Members of the family include her son Robert Verrie and wife Danila of Kapellen, Belgium; 5 grandchildren Saundra McCaffery, James McCaffery, Jamieson Verrie, Natalie Verrie and Justin Verrie; 3 great-grandchildren Logan, Isabelle and Josh; 1 brother Robert Mainguy and wife Lucille of Berlin, NH; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband Spiro Verrie and a daughter Arline McCaffery. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 27, 2008 at 9 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, on Friday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
